    I cannot express enough how disappointed I am with the service provided by All My Sons. This will be a lengthy review to provide full context of my experience with this company. To start, I called on 12/27 to schedule my move for 12/30 and I was happy to hear that they would be able to accommodate my move on a short notice. For context, I was moving from a 2 bedroom apt. to a 2 bedroom condo that was ~20 min away - I had already moved most of the things and just needed help with bigger items such as bed, dressers, nightstands, tvs, big bins, etc.. To me, this should have taken no more than 2 - 2.5 hours at most. I was told that I would have 3 movers assigned and that they would arrive at some point between 11-3. On the day of the move, the supervisor called and noted that the movers would be arriving a little earlier around 10:30. Upon arrival, I noticed that there were only 2 movers instead of the 3 that was on my original quote. I called the supervisor and he noted that 1 mover called out (I am not sure why this wasn't mentioned earlier when he called about arrival time). As such, he noted that he would adjust the labor rate to account for the one mover that did not show up. So instead of the $179 rate that I was quoted, he said he was going to reduce it to $139 (which he didn't, it was ultimately $149 - but every dollar counts when you're paying by the hour). I accepted the lower rate for accommodation because I needed the move done. Where I started to have an issue... During the move, the movers wrapped all things that I asked (tvs, mirrors, nightstands, dresser, and dining table). However, they worked with no haste to move things into the truck... being on their phone, using my bathroom (#2) without asking (if you have to go, you have to go but courtesy would be to ask as I had already cleaned my apartment and had no intentions to clean anymore after the move). Because I was being charged by the hour, I ended up helping to move some of the things to try to speed up time, which I had no intentions on doing given the sole reason of me actually hiring movers. With the actual move of my items, some things were handled with care while others weren't. They did not use any blanketing covers on items which resulted in damage to my dressers and night stands (deep scratches, chips, and cracks). The overall move ended up taking 6 hours and costing me over $1,200. They charged a mileage fee as well as a fuel fee - how does that make any sense? If you are charging me for mileage, that IS the fuel! So imagine paying $1,200 for movers and you moving things yourself. I was also supposed to receive ~ $75 refund based upon the movers being finished "earlier than they expected". I have not yet received that refund. But I am not done... the thing that UPSET me the most is that things were stolen from me! Specifically a diamond tennis necklace and my work phone. I know this to be true because I put both of those items in one of the nightstands right before they arrived. Once they completed the move, I realized that only one of the nightstands had the shrink wrap taken off of it and the other didn't. So I went to check on my items and those two items were GONE. Stealing my necklace is one thing, stealing my work phone is a whole other inconvenience for me and it creates a security issue based upon where I work and what I do; thus, I will have to report this. Long story short, I DO NOT RECOMMEND! You'd be better off paying a couple of friends or family members to help with your next move than to leverage this company as I will tell you, you will not be happy with the service. UPDATE: The response to reach out to them is not genuine. I called multiple times to no response and a full voicemail box. There is no true effort by this company to provide any resolution to issues that their customers have!
