Just came here on Christmas Eve. I'm new to Mechanicsville and I'm not fancy, I've only been to the Hair Cuttery in town. Today the Hair Cuttery was booked with grandmas getting haircuts, so I found Great Clips via a Google search. I called to see if they had availability and they are really pleasant on the phone. When we went down the staff was really warm and inviting. My friend needing the haircut doesn't speak English, and the staff was wonderful in working with us and making the whole process super easy. We'll all definitely be coming back.

If I could give a 0 star, I would. I went in for a shag haircut, and the lady said that it was impossible since my hair was down my back and she would have to cut it short and then told her co worker that I didnt know what I want and/or understand what I was talking about (which I knew what I was asking for because Ive had a shag look before) Then I asked for a wolf cut with curtain bangs, and showed them a photo of what I wanted (which the lady in the photo had long hair) they started to cut my hair, one lady just cut off 4 inches, then the other lady started to do my hair, (also while I was in the chair, the lady who started the cut kept leaving and doing other things). The other lady who actually did the cut, didnt know what she was doing. She cut my hair super short, shorter than I want. My hair is super uneven and choppy and she didnt even do my bangs properly. After I got home, I realized how bad it was and was so upset. I will NEVER BE GOING BACK TO ANY GREAT CLIPS EVER AGAIN!!!
