I usually bring my 15 year old to this location. I take my toddler to a different barber shop just because I am particular about how his hair is cut. Anyway, I came in last Sunday to have my 1.5 year olds haircut. Hes been at this location once before for his first haircut. I checked in online and my phone showed two minutes until he was up. I went inside and the board changed to 28 minutes until he was up. I originally chose Jessyca to cut his hair but then the staff changed it to someone else. I let it go and continued to wait, far past my line up time. 30 minutes later we got called back. The stylist asked if he could sit and I said yes. I sat him down and he started to squirm. I have always been able to distract him in order to get a haircut. The stylist immediately said that if he couldnt sit still on his own, she was declining services. I picked him up and walked out. I thanked the staff on my way out for wasting my time because they didnt want to cut a toddlers hair. I also will not be bringing my 15 year old back to any sports clips either. If you want a barbershop that will actually accommodate NORMAL toddler behavior, go to Fades and Blades in Mechanicsville. Chloe cuts my youngest hair. She is amazing and so patient with toddlers. Save your money, time and energy if you have young kids. NEVER will I ever give a penny to another sports clips franchise. Also, they always have an attitude and they work for tips. Make it make sense.
