APL salon is helping me achieve the hair of my dreams. What makes APL different is that she is a great listener. She takes the time to talk about you lifestyle and needs and then makes her own recommendations. She product recommendations are awesome. She also does the little things like a deep scalp massage. Her salon is comfortable. Great parking and a relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend APL

Sooolet me tell you about my girl Anne. She is honestly the best hairstylist Ive ever had and thats saying something because Im SUPER picky about my hair. There are so many great things I can say about Anne, but here are a few: For one, shes very knowledgeable and stays up to date with the latest trends and styles. This girl knows what shes doing! Secondly, when you tell her a look and/or color youre going for she listens to ensure that's what youre getting. Lastly, shes great company!! I love our chats especially the latest ones about our kiddos.

Anne is amazing! She is such a kind and caring person and a joy to spend 3 hours with during a service. I seriously look forward to every service with her. I typically get a balayage and a cut every 12-14 weeks. My color always looks nice and grows out well between appointments. Sometimes I tell her what I want and she does it flawlessly. Other times, I literally just tell her to do what she thinks is best, and it also comes out great. If youre looking for a reasonable stylist and someone who is at talented at what she does, come here! You wont be disappointed! Services: Haircut, Balayage

Thankful for many things this year, but I want to express my sincere gratitude and love for my hair stylist Anne at APL Studio. Growing up, I worked at a lot of different salons and spas and I never really had a go-to *hair* person. I always wanted to try out a new stylist and would bounce around a lot, which I know is breaking a cardinal rule in the hair world. It was not until I moved to Richmond and had Anne work her magic on my hair that I knew I had found a forever home for my haircare. She is an AMAZING listener and always knows how to execute my vision. Getting my hair done is a treat because time always flies when Im with Anne because its like going over to your best friends house and catching up. She always has the best music playing or a fun show in the background to watch. On top of it all, she always has the best snack selection and offers you a seasonal, Pinterest worthy-looking drink for you to sip on while you get your hair done. Also, hands down the best scalp massage Ive ever had while getting shampooed. Shes also surprised me with holiday goodies at my front door and I just have never had someone who goes above and beyond for her clients like Anne does. Truly grateful for Anne and cant wait until my next appointment with her!

Visits to APL studios are my favorite self care days and nothing short of amazing!! Not only is Anne a lifelong friend but the best hairdresser/colorist I have ever had ( I wish I had started going to her sooner). She is always up to date on new and trending all things hair, but she always gives her honest opinion on my (sometimes crazy)ideas. The color is ALWAYS amazing whether we are lightening it up or going a little darker. The conversations, trashy tv shows, and head massages are just a few of my favorite things at APL studios.not to mention the fall mimosas. I love Anne and all things APL studios.
