My sister and I both used Ian Perez for ACT/SAT prep (both in person and virtually) and were very pleased with our score improvements. Ian was flexible with scheduling and invaluable in providing tips, tricks, and test-taking strategies. He was very supportive and enthusiastic, and genuinely cared about our progress. I would highly recommend Ian for all students.

I have twin junior sons who were working with a different tutor. While they liked their tutor they felt that they had hit a wall with their current tutor. We switched to Marks and Christy and she was able to help them get through the wall and my boys were able to achieve their target SAT scores (1500 plus). She was extremely responsive despite being across the pond. I could not recommend Christy enough if your student is willing to put in the work. Marks' weekend practice tests were extremely helpful.

Going into Junior year, I wanted to take both the PSAT/NMSQT and the SAT, and score well on both. I'd been going to a (non-Marks Education) tutor all summer but I hadn't seen or felt any improvement in my performance or my confidence. Two weeks before the PSAT, I began taking a single one-hour class per week with a tutor from Marks , and the effect was immediate. My PSAT score rose by 50 points, and two months later, I did exceptionally well (1500+) on my first-ever real SAT. I worked with Mr. Bloss, who is incredibly well-versed in the subtleties of test jargon and structure. The tutoring is more than just constant repetition of practice problems, you learn actual tips and tricks for improving overall performance. I would highly recommend these tutors to anyone looking for serious improvement in their performances. The classes are fun and instructional, and as long as you're willing to put in the effort you'll be able to reap the rewards.

Both our children used Dan Bloss for SAT prep tutoring. We highly recommend Dan. He knows the subject material very well, is great with teenagers and was flexible with scheduling appointments. He went above and beyond by suggesting reading material they might like over the summer and genuinely cares about each student's success. I have the highest regard for Marks Education SAT/ACT program, and specifically Dan Bloss. Each of my sons worked with Dan (two years apart) and each had fantastic success. My older son increased his ACT score by five points from his initial score. My younger son increased his ACT result by four points, receiving a perfect score (36). I attribute this to Dan's insightful guidance and patience. He explained how the test works, how the questions are asked, and what the nuances are to the solutions. Very importantly, Dan's careful prep enabled the boys to go into the test prepared and confident. The cost is simply an investment. The higher scores resulted in acceptance to much better schools, and in one son's case, a nearly full scholarship. I recommend Dan to everyone!
