        Great little period site. Feels more real than, say, Colonial Williamsburg. Small property with some live animals and crops in rotation. A couple of structures on the property to tour. Nice hiking path between the displays. We really enjoyed our time there. Our two year old liked it, too. Need a good sturdy jogging stroller for the grounds. Staff very nice and knowledgeable.

        This place is awesome. The kids I was with enjoyed so much. The actors answered all the question, they are very nice, and never get out of the character.

        The Market Fair was fun and educational. The kids made candles and were more interested in the pond and the farm animals, while the parents learned about flint lock rifles, colonial era fabric and how a tenant farm was run in 1771.
