Dr. Pillion came highly recommended by a therapist Ive worked with for many years. At my first visit, he took the time to take a thorough situational and family history prior to discussing medication. I have never felt rushed or like I was receiving a pre formed plan. I have needed several follow ups following my first visit, and Dr. Pillion has always been extremely responsive. Also including thorough explanations behind the plan and a clear follow up plan.

This doctor provided reasonable care for anxiety for a year or so, monitoring my zoloft, until I suffered a series of life stresses and my symptoms grew into severe PTSD. He then prescribed a muscle relaxant called Seroquel that made me so lethargic I checked into urgent care because I could barely walk. He also prescribed xanax as needed, which made my mood swings even more severe. I felt like I was on a roller coaster with the med regime he had me on, and he didn't respond to my concerns. When my mom and husband would email to inform him I still wasn't acting normal, he would simply increase the dosage on the muscle relaxant, further impeding my ability to function on the job or social front. I finally left this doctor and checked into a clinic that ran the new Genomind test on me. Zoloft, and seroquel (the muscle relaxant) showed up on the cautionary list for my body chemistry. I've been switched to just two medications that gradually stabilized my symptoms. I feel so much more myself again. The bottom line is that I will not return to this doctor and wouldn't recommend him, because he didn't listen well to me during a time of crisis.

Epitome of why people go to medical school for wrong reason - i.e. to make money. He is my way or highway. Charges $250 per session to find a way to blame your parents for your issues in adulthood. $750 before he gives you any medication and only gives 2 months supply. When you tell him he wasted your time and money from last week he gets sensitive instead of working on the constructive criticism. Called me abusive names during my session and then covered it up in front of my parents who knew better than to believe him. On top of that used what I said against me to pretend like I am doing things to him my bullies did to me. Really, his license should be revoked. If you have free money to doll out and want to be abused, go ahead and go to him. If you want legitimate help and your moneys worth for service avoid him like the plague. I have more issues than I came in with thanks to him.
