Virginia Vision Therapy Center

Virginia Vision Therapy (Manassas) has been such a blessing for my daughter! The therapists are wonderful and so fun to work with! The staff are friendly and helpful and Dr. Johnson is very thorough! Weve had a fantastic experience and the benefits of this therapy are too many to list.

Ive taken 2 of my sons to VVTC Manassas for therapy for a little over a year and both have shown marked improvements in their abilities in school and otherwise. Tommy and Timmy have both graduated from vision therapy with Sierra (who worked with both boys) and Akeila (who worked with Tommy) and both ladies have been very pleasant and patient and kind. Im so glad we got to work with them! I enjoyed getting to chat after the boys sessions with both ladies. Sierra never was without a smile and Akeila and I annoyed chatting about sports and our need for snow in winter. She was able to really help Tommy by incorporating some baseball esque activities as part of therapy. Tommy excelled even more. It was amazing to hear how hed go from being tired of activities to wanting to do em til he got em right in the last few sessions, all of his own accord. He used to want to give up out of frustration. Both boys began vision therapy unable to read or comprehend, and with attitude issues towards learning. Timmy is 7 and doing 3rd grade work, reading and comprehending better every day. Tommy is 9 and in 3rd grade and has gone from zero interest in school to a greater motivation to do his work, read, and focus! He even reads the road signs and words he sees through the day! None of this was here before. He never responded to bribes or goals til now. It used to take 8 hours for him to do his math and phonics and now it takes 1 hour each. We used to spend the day on schoolwork just to finish math and phonics, and now hes finished before noon with 3-4 subjects. It used to be so frustrating. Now he does it and its done and he gets to play and enjoy the rest of the day! Im grateful for Sierra and Akeila helping him get to this point!
