Dana Mohl

Ive been seeing Dana for almost a year and she has been nothing but helpful. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, and works with me to find the best treatment plan. She accepts my insurance and is extremely flexible. Shes understanding and compassionate and truly cares for her clients. I recommend her to anyone looking for a quality care team!

Had an appointment scheduled with this provider. I completed all the required paperwork, showed up for my appointment, but Dana was no where to be found. Not a message, e-mail or phone call from her, absolutely nothing. I completely agree with other reviews that she does not care about how she impacts the mental health of people. It seems she is here to make the easy money.

Dana Mohl deserves many accolades for her professionalism, clinical knowledge, and character; there are not enough words to express my gratitude in exchange for her services. As Ms. Mohl explains in her review response, many psychiatrists in the area do not accept insurance, most exceptionally Tricare and Medicaid, and Ms. Mohls practice does. The fact that she decided to accept my insurance acted as my saving grace, as I COULD NOT find a psychiatrist for months on end. Anyone whos tried to find a competent psychiatrist in 2022 will tell you that the market is saturated few doctors are accepting new patients and those who do often schedule months in advance. Once Ms. Mohl accepted me as her patient, she offered to schedule my first appointment as soon as 24 to 48 hours from intake; this was a stark contrast to the myriad of other practices that either never returned my phone calls or displayed nothing but apathy for my being out of network. Dana estimated that our first appointment would last approximately 45 minutes, and she invested every moment of that time in engaging in a quality assessment. She listened to me, she let me expound on my thoughts, she offered insightful replies, and directed our conversation in a meaningful direction. I never felt belittled, and she reassured me that my thoughts and moods were understandable given specific life stressors and the traumatizing effect of the pandemic. Most of all, I appreciate that she was real. Every follow-up appointment has built upon the foundation laid in our first encounter, and I feel weve built a trustworthy rapport. It is unconscionable to me that anyone of a lucid mind would make outrageous claims stating that Dana Mohl denied them rightful service. Im aware that multiple, questionable poor reviews have recently surfaced accusing Ms. Mohl of unfair practices; I question to ask who thinks they are deserving of forcing her hand? Clearly, this person and their posse have not been able to capture the attention of any other practitioner and are willing to display their emotional instability by barraging Ms. Mohl with false claims in a public manner. Ive reported the bullying reviews. I esteem Dana Mohl as one of the best in her field and deserves to be held in the highest professional regard - 5 stars.
