image Ms. DeeDee is the only positive thing keeping this daycare in good standing in my eyes. My daughter was here all of 4 months and she went thru multiple teachers within that timeframe (from teachers quitting to getting fired). My baby caught hand foot mouth almost immediately. When she was able to return, I provided them with a doctors note to return but was still turned around from Ms. Venus who wasn't even physically there to see my child. All because my child also has eczema and they couldn't tell the difference. DESPITE a doctors note clearing her. The new director at the moment (Ms. Bailey) was unsure of the decision to make which in my eyes is a loss of confidence in their system as a whole. Something that also rubbed me wrong was a comment Ms. Venus mentioned when my child wasn't quite fully able to hold her bottle at the time, she mentioned "oh they normally know that around 4-5 months...it depends on what the parents are doing". As a director of a daycare you should be more cognizant that every child's journey is different and you never downplay a parents abilities (there's a professional way to approach that). I also ran into issues with them giving my daughter the wrong bottles. I label EVERYTHING, yet they still managed to mix up my daughters items. Even having my daughter drink out of a cup that wasn't hers because a teacher in the classroom put her OWN label with my daughters name on it. Also, having my daughter lay on sheets that weren't hers. I understand things happen but that should NEVER be happening! Especially if I'm doing my part and providing all of that and labeling everything. Had that been the other way around with a parent failing to do so, we'd be held accountable as well. To finally validate things for me was when I put in my notice that my daughter won't be returning. I'm military and received a subsidy back pay lump sum that was applied to my account. At the time of me notifying them, I had over $1K left in my account. After having a discussion with Ms. Venus over the phone and via email, she tries to tell me I'm due back $42 out of that. She was out of her mind even thinking that was ok. After I brought to her all of my documentation and discussed things with her further, she agreed that I was owed back what I initially KNEW I was owed. Her comment was "they're losing out on money". Unbelievable that as a business you'll unethically take money from paying parents because "you're losing money". Needless to say, be careful when dealing with them. Not worth it in my eyes. They need a better system and more genuine people working in that field.

image If you have special needs kids please dont send them here. They got a bunch of young girls working in this place that have no patience. When I tell them this my kids last day now they want me to pick them up and they dont have time for her.

I'm sorry you feel this way. Your child's teacher graduated from Hampton University with a degree in Education. She has over 4 years of experience in this field. She has 10 children in her Pre-k classroom and the parents love her. She has more patience in working with the children and communicating effectively with her parents. However, when you enrolled your children 2 weeks ago, you downplayed the severity of your child's needs. We have communicated to you few times that your child was a runner and will hit even the teacher when they try to stop her from running out the building. KinderKidz serves by group and not individually as in a therapeutic setting where there are therapists etc on staff. Recommendations have been discussed with you, but you insist you do not have the time to do so. We were going to give you a 2 week notice had you not gotten help for your child. It is sad to see children moved around so frequently. I pray you find peace.

image I have a 7-month-old and a 2 1/2-year-old. My wife and i just enrolled them and they started this Monday, Nov 14th. We had no problems dropping them off at 8:30 a.m. and we were excited because my two year old have been having speech problems due to his traumatic birth but that not wasn't an issue, the issue was with my 7-month-old supposedly all he did was crying the WHOLE time while he was there so they ask us for some pointers to calm him down. My children didn't go to daycare Tuesday, Nov 15th and 16th and I was prepared to talk to them about my 7-month-oldthe next time we dropped him off. Well today Nov 17th I dropped the boys off at daycare and saw the director she explained to me about having problems with my 7-month-old and if there was anything special we did to calm him down. I told her "I don't know he's normally doesn't cry that long and that he likes being held and rocked to sleep. She said oh well it can be because he in a new environment. I said it could be but I don't know because I'm not here to see what y'all doing. Alright so we'll see how today goes. I said kool. About an hour or so later I get videos of my boys my 7-month-old was not crying in the videos and I'm like aww how sweet but why my baby in the two year old room. I figured they may have had them together to stop my 7-month-old. So I'm thinking everything is fine. About an hour later I get a call from my wife and she's hysterical stating they're stopping service with my 7-month-old because all he do is cry. I'm like after a day of him being there? She's like yes supposedly he cried so much on Monday that he made two people quit and he's been crying all morning today. I'm like how the two videos you just sent me he seemed like he was okay? My wife was like I don't know it's not making any sense but she's terminating his service. So I asked do I have to go get them and she's like yeah. I get there at 11:05ish go to get my 2 year old but he's eating lunch so I go and grab my 7-month-old. I get to the room and he's quite look like he was crying but he seemed fine so I was confuse about what's going on. The director says yeah he's been crying and they had trouble feeding him. Im like okay did y'all try to rock him and was the bottle cold? One of the workers said no it was hot (I was about to say something but figured she meant warm) and we did try and rock him. That's when the director said yeah and so I took him with me for a little and then we took him to play with his brother to see if that would calm him down and I'm like okay it must have worked cause he's calm now. So I was frustrated at this point and asked if I could speak with her in private. She tells me about the two ladies quitting and that he was fussy but she notice when she was feeding him that it could have been a issue with the nipple flow like he was getting too much while trying to feed him. I said we did have a nipple issue because the same thing happened to us at home when we used a 2nd stage nipple instead of a stage 0/1 nipple but I explained that we bought more so maybe they could have got mixed up. At this point I'm like so you know that something else could have been the problem he only been here one day and now you're terminating his services she explained unfortunately yes. The whole time I'm holding him and he's not crying, screaming, or none of that. So I'm like okay hand her the key card and proceeded to go get my two year old. We get everything and left around 11:15/11:20ish. I get home the whole way home the boys are quite. I get inside and feed my 7-month-old and he goes to sleep. My issue is if he was that fussy why didn't we receive a video showing us the issue of it was that bad? 2. He's a baby he's not going to be quite the whole damn time of course he's gonna cry y'all are suppose to be professionals. I understand if it was a week but it seriously was a day and a couple hours. He's teething as all babies do. I believe none of these were an issue because he was fine when we came home.
