I had the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. I waited in line for half an hour. The employee at the front counter was on the phone the entire time. Since he was so preoccupied, He only pointed at the computer screen to show me my options. He hardly ever spoke to me He didnt show me where my trailer was, so I had to look for it for about 25 minutes. He also did not help me hook it up ( as he said he would ) The gentleman who ended up hooking it up did not do it correctly, so I had to do it myself. The worst part is that it has been the same experience the last 3 times Ive been to this U-haul. Ive gone 3 times in the last 7 months. I will not be going back a forth time

This was my first time getting a U-Haul. The U-Haul claims their van is $20, but they also charge for mileage, so the bill came out to $42. I needed a 10' van to transfer a new piece of furniture twenty miles in total from my home back to the U-haul in a couple hours. The van was older and smelled like cigarettes, but we drove it without any complaints. There was no ramp or dolly, which was difficult. The employee totaled up the cost after I parked under the return pavilion and said I somehow owed an extra $11. I assured him we didn't take the U-Haul on a joyride. He was kind and took the extra cost off. Overall, it was an easy transaction even if there were some inconveniences. I will say I wish they would have told me the van was only $20 as long as it never left the parking lot.
