        Nice place to get away from the chaos around it. Great scenery, wildlife, fishing, kayaking or just sitting around and enjoying convening with nature.

        The "playground" consisted of 2 stone animals and a rock. Not much shade around the lake, so it was very hot for our picnic.

        My favorite park in Lynchburg! Always a family of geese in the lake to say hi to. The pavilion is a great place for lunch. There are native plants! The trail around the lake can be very muddy so wear the right shoes for it.

        Mud all over the walkway from construction nearby. This should be cleaned up as quickly as possible each day and not left to accumulate.
