Get Thai Express

Get Thai Express is my new favorite place in town! My family and I went and the staff were all so sweet and kind - they answered all my questions and gave me great recommendations. My favorite dish was the Pad See Ew! 10 out of 10, I would highly encourage.

I have been putting off ordering here due to the mixed reviews. I eat at another local Thai place at least once a week, but they're closed on Mondays so I tried this instead. The wontons were way overfried (most of the filling was gone) and absolutely saturated in grease. I couldn't eat them. Our entrees (steak pad thai and chicken panang curry) were just okay. Pad thai isn't what I'm used to - I would agree with previous reviewers that said it was akin to getting something "Thai" from the grocery store and microwaving it. The chicken with the curry was too fatty for my sister to eat. She loved the tung tongs, though. My Thai tea was very good as well, but the rest of it was a bit of a disappointment.

This is authentic Thai restaurant with food cooked fresh to order. As a Los Angeles, California native, I have experienced great Thai food and Get Thai Express ranks in the top! The owners and the staff are so friendly and take great care to not only serve high quality food, but also to create a great environment to enjoy. I have tried almost all the food on the menu and I enjoy it all! The Cashew Chicken and Pad Thai are among my favorites! The Thai Tea is also fantastic!

We tried the red curry and fried wontons. I am a huge fan of Thai curry and was not disappointed! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back.
