        My daughter and son-in-law adopted two kittens last fall and took them to Lakewood Animal Hospital for their initial check-up. When it was time to take our older cat for a check-up, she recommended that we take her to Lakewood. We were more than pleased. Not only did our cat receive good care, but the staff remembered the two kittens and our cat came home without the usual trauma that she feels after a vet visit. We even received a follow-up text then next day to check if she was having any reaction to her vaccination. We're very pleased. Our cat would like us to add her comments, too: Meow. Prrrr.

        With multiple pets (cats and dogs), Lakewood Animal Hospital has always been my goto place for our pet care since they opened in 2011. They've always treated our pets well. Treatment and diagnosis have always been thoughtful and well-explained. Everyone there has been a real pleasure to encounter.

We are located in the Marketplace at the Lake of the Woods shopping center directly across from the Lake of the Woods front entrance. Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, health & travel certificates, nutrition & weight management, allergy & dermatology care, euthanasia, reproductive services, cardiology, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, parasite testing & prevention, pet dental, pet surgery including spay & neuter, pain management, urgent & emergency pet care services (during business hours), & more!
