This place is awesome. First I arrived about 10 min after closing. The front door was locked and as I walked back to my car the side door opened and a young lady asked if she could help me. I wanted a loaf of bread for my trip. I apologized for being late but she offered me service with a smile even though the till has been closed out. You just can't beat this kind of ownership and service. I used to work in Lexington about 8 years ago and have fond memories of my lunches here. The chicken salad is the best I have had in any restaurant. The chibata is one of the best I have had. The soups warm the soul on the cool Lexington days and fill the belly with delight. You really can't go wrong coming to meet here

Haven't eaten here in years. We missed some wonderful food !! Had the chili and a grilled cheese delicious ! And my husband had a BLT and black beans. Everything was delicious. Love the new dining room addition as well. Lovely setting. will be back

Blue sky is my go to treat for breakfast or lunch in Lexington. The staff is incredibly nice and are patient if you arent sure what you want right when you walk in. Lots of seating room with the new cafe side. Ive never been to the bar, but Ive heard good things. I LOVE the focaccia bread, it pairs perfectly with my favorite sandwiches the breakfast sandwich and the Blue Sky sandwich. The pimento cheese is a great add on to any dish. I only have good memories here, and I look forward to making more!
