AfterHours Pediatrics - West End

Very unhappy with the service. The girl at the front desk was very unorganized. I got there at 6:04 and watched 3 different people leave because of the service. When I watched people who for rheee after get called before I asked for a number to a complaint and was given a fake number. I called while in the waiting room. I was given the option that I could leave or continue to wait. I was not the only upset parent in the room. Once I was taken back the nurse was very professional and apologize. However going forward I will probably go to Kidmed. When you kid is sick these are not things that should have to be dealt with. I will be filling a complaint as well as letting all the public know of the poor services service. On all social media outlets

Big thanks to AfterHours Pediatrics and Dr. Chun. One of our teenage boys had bad stomach pain late on Mother's Day. Turned out to be his appendix. We were in & out of AHP in 15 mins. & on our way to St. Mary's. Dr. Chun even called the hospital so they were expecting us. A few hours later...no more appendix. Dr. Chun, and our primary pediatrician (Dr. Dawson from PPV Kids), also called us the next day to see how our son was doing. Wonderful care all the way around. Can't recommend AHP enough!

I wil not bring My daughter here anymore. The Doctor did a strep wednesday told me it was negative. She than call me very late friday night and leaves a voicemail saying "oh didnt get you call you back tomorrow". They never call I had to call them with serious results that she did in fact has strep. She was very non chalant about it. Strep is very dangerous to children can cause kidney inflammation and Endocarditis! Which is fatal! I also felt prejudice as well. She was a female Md will not say her name. Poor practice!!!!! Run!!!!!

What a great location to bring my child. Nurse and Doctors are well informed and experience ..very friendly and clean environment. No need for appointment, it is convenient hours from 6pm to 9pm after I leave work. Staffed by community pediatricians.
