UVA Health Bull Run Family Medicine Haymarket

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH BIRAGONI & NAKAWALA and her nurse totally unprofessional behavior, She was not confident and knowledgeable at all. First time I went there to see BIRAGONI, She was behaving psychotic. Pushed me to start bp medicines without listening about side effects I am having & without telling me the reason and way to try to cure it naturally. And was threatening me not to call her office if any issues comes up , go to ED instead. She was yelling at me literally. These drs. Making u fool. Trying to make money out of you. NOT treating u as human instead they think we are Guinie pigs. 2ND time I went there to do labs because I was feeling very weak post covid. I saw NAKAWALA there. She was not willing to listen and understand and kept forcing me to come back and see dr. Min.Why do I have to come back and see him? when I am already seeing you. Are you not confident treating your pt ?and despite that you left the conversation in middle and went out to get advise from your nurse. Ridiculous ! on top of it your nurse came back with her chest up like she is going to beat me and said that NAKAWALA not going to order labs you want. aweful! that's how you treat patient? if you don't know how to treat and behave with your patient, what are you doing there? I would recommend having camera everywhere in practice and see how you treat your patient A big NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to this practice. I will never go back there.

Dr. Eric Noh is excellent! He is very knowledgeable and patient! He listens to you and cares about your symptoms, looking for the best possible way to help you! Friendly staff its make your time there very pleasant!

I have been going to uva health bull rub family run medicine i have never had a problem all the doctors i have worked with seem wanting to help me wit my problems they always treated me with respect and they listen to my questions and concerns. I will continue coming here for as long as i keep them!!!

Not a trust worthy practice ! The reception doesn't give a price for the consultation fees for self paid patients with no isnurance before the appointment, but then after the appointment we would be obligated to pay whatever fees they come up with after the appointment. This seems to be a phoney practice, not a family practice.

This is the second time now I have called for a same-day sick appointment (I've been a patient for at least three years) where they said I needed a negative COVID-19 before they would see me. THIS IS THEIR JOB. I shouldn't have to go (sick, mind you) to a store feeling like poop to get a test when they as the medical professional should have all the necessary tests and kits as their disposal. If I need to wear a mask, fine. But to refuse to see me? Note to UVA - COVID-19 paranoia and scare is over. Everyone has had it a few times at this point. It is a normal virus that you should be able to treat when your patient calls. Horrible customer service and just bizarre, paranoid behavior for a medical professional. I have a new primary care physician now with iNOVA, and they agreed that was ridiculous. The Urgent Care I called agreed it was ridiculous as well. Again, THAT IS YOUR JOB.
