        Stylist made me wait 4 (FOUR) hours before doing my hair. Then cut my hair wrong so I had to come back to get it fixed which still couldn't be fixed since she cut it wrong. I will not be coming here again and be wary of Ebony if you value your time.

        I've been coming to Ebony for almost 5 years now due to my old stylist constantly canceling my appointments. Not only has Ebony never canceled on me, but she's always on time, very professional and honest. She won't tell you what you want to hear. She will keep your hair healthy and thriving. She has client for life

        I had an appointment with Bri at 12 noon today. I was kept under the dryer for 1 hour and 45 minutes. My appointment was supposed to be for 2 hours. Why is it ever necessary for a person to be under the dryer for so very long. I am disappointed with the lack of care, my time and consideration. Needless to say I will not be returning to your hair studio. On top of that I'm coming from Northern, Virginia to get my hair done. I am so hot behind this lack of professionalism!         Hello again Allison. Although we have spoken to you privately, we want to have an opportunity to respond to you publicly. We at Hairista Studio value each client, their time & certainly their desired style. The timeframes listed on our booking sites are estimated. Unfortunately there are times that your service may warrant more care and attention in order to carry out the health as well as desired style. By no means do we ever intentionally “show a lack of care”; which is why Bri checked on you during your appointment, so this review is a little of a surprise. We pride ourselves on good vibes in addition to great service. Additionally, the scene you caused in the salon by speaking to your service provider (who is pregnant) was quite disrespectful and threatening because you didn’t give her an opportunity to respond, explain or finish your service. Instead, you stormed out yelling and without payment… as a fellow black owned business owner, it’s disheartening to have had such an uproar in our establishment in front of other clients. We hope you find a better fit for your beauty needs. And sincerely hope that you’re given grace & not approached in the same manner you gave us within your small business. Wishing you a Happy New Year!
