My heat pump's wall thermostat went blank (it doesn't use back-up batteries), so I couldn't use heat or AC at my home. I sent a service request to AHS warranty, and they assigned this contractor immediately. I received a call from the contractor right away and my appointment was scheduled for the next morning. The technician arrived on time and immediately found a blown fuse in the air handler, which he replaced, and the wall thermostat display started working, but the heat and AC still didn't come on. He then went outside to the heat pump and replaced two bad parts (a transformer and contactor, I think). I believe those two parts got fried and caused the fuse to trip. The problem was fixed on the first visit. Both the office staff and the technician were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and the technician was very thorough in his work. This was my first time using the AHS warranty (or this contractor), and I was pleased that the repair was covered except for my deductible. I would use this contractor again based on today's positive experience. Service: HVAC system repair

American Home Shield contracted this company out to repair a water leak issue in my master bedroom shower. I wanted to take a moment to write how the tech took the time to educate me on issue I was experiencing . My issue ended up being a cartridge replacement. He was so knowledgeable on ever aspect of the job. I feel that him taking the time to go above and beyond reflect him and the company as well. Thank you so much again!!!

I was referred to this company through the American Home Shield (AHS) Warranty company for a serious plumbing issue. A technician came to my home at 1pm on a Friday and said he could not fix the issue until waterworks came to turn off the water from the city line. He requested I call them and call him back when the water was off. NN waterworks turned the water off between 2:30-3:00. I called the technician who did not answer. I contacted the office who told me that a technician would not be able to come back to complete the job until Monday. Who tells you to turn your water off and then doesn't return for 3 days!! I've received mediocre service from them in the past but this final opportunity they will get from me. I am a broker and not only will I NOT be referring anyone to Service Mechanical. I will be pulling my 5 home warranties from AHS and assigning them to another company as well
