Allen Mechanical

Fred Allen and his sons installed the HVAC systems (3) in our new home 20+ years ago. I talked with Philip Allen in September 2023 when he was here to inspect one of the compressors. He suggested that we should think about replacing the main unit based on twenty years of use, and then he provided information with several options. My wife and I told him that whatever we decided on couldn't be much better than what we had, but he assured us that the newer unit would be better. The main unit was replaced in late October 2023, and Philip was right. As for our current and future HVAC needs, we are SO thankful to have Allen Mechanical to take care of this. They've been responsive whenever we've needed service (which has been minimal), and we fully trust them. We've also recommended them to some of our neighbors and friends over the years, and the folks who took our recommendations shared their positive comments with us after choosing them. I first called Allen Mechanical in 2019 to replace a motor on the outdoor condenser unit. He did so at a fair price and did a great job. Recently (2023) I called him with an unrelated problem with my heating system. He was very helpful and helped me trouble shoot the problem over the phone. I will always use Allen Mechanical for any future Heating/AC needs.

The new XV-17 system that Allen Mechanical installed last week is noticeably more comfortable than a traditional HVAC system. The heat is more comfortable and the temperature in each room is well balanced which all adds to the comfort level experienced. I am most impressed with Philip Allen's recommendations, system improvements, and hassle-free installation experience. My wife has commented numerous times about the improved comfort of the home environment. I look forward to upgrading the upstairs system next year with Allen Mechanical.
