Such a fun night at Publix Aprons cooking school.  Beautiful commercial kitchen (they have 2 side by side separated by a room curtain).  The instructor were young, energetic and delightful, We made several types of pasta and 3 different sauces.  Only reason I have it 4 stars is it would have been nice to have a salad and garlic bread instead of just a plate full of pasta.  There was plenty of time for people standing and waiting for their turn to add those sides.

If you are looking for a fabulous, fun, and unique experience for a family or friends group- call Aprons YESTERDAY! They offer a "Chopped Night" as a private event! It's actually a combination of the show "Chopped" and "Guys Grocery Games." We brought our adult children to an evening here. Our surprise ingredients included Spam! Then the teams go out into the store and select for more items (paid for by a Publix) to create a scrumptious dish. After the competition, we were all served a delicious four course meal, prepared by the Chefs. The experience and this particular meal, (you choose the menu!) which was ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans with butternut squash, a brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce, (and three bottles of wine) was $65/ person. Pricing depends on the entrée you choose and if you want wine or not. I believe they start at $55. We had such a great time with Chef Mike and Chef April. They are very professional, personable, and fun! Each team prepared an entrée dish for two of the judges-Publix employees! You must try this! They do a wonderful job and it will be a treasured memory for all of us!

I went to the Seafood Wine Dinner and that was my first time visiting the Aprons kitchen and I cant believe Id been missing out on this. The chefs were great and did an amazing job with cooking and explaining to us their techniques and revisions to the recipes we ate (I love to cook so I took notes). All of the food was phenomenal, that coupled with the wine definitely made the class feel like I got bang for buck (I even got to take some vegetables home that were leftover). I cant wait for the next quarters scheduled to release so I can return for a hands on or skills class!
