I highly recommend Senior Care Authority of Richmond. Tyler McCartney from Senior Care went above and beyond to help us find a nice place for my father to live that met his care needs in the Virginia Beach area. We were under significant time pressure and Tyler got started right away. He was very knowledgable and made a stressful situation manageable. I cannot imagine having done it without his help and expertise.

We were in great need to find an Assisted Living facility for my 98 year old father. We did not know where to begin. The Rehab center suggested that we contact Tyler with the Senior Care Authority of Richmond. During our first meeting, we knew we were fortunate to have Tyler assist us. Not only did he have vast knowledge of the various facilities on the Hampton Roads Peninsula, he is extremely caring and patient in finding the right place for my father. He is an excellent listener and coach. Be sure to ask for Tyler.

In January, my 82 year old grandmother fell and I was forced to make decisions that I was not prepared for quickly. The rehab facility did not give much notice before discharge and I was scrambling to get things in order for her care. My first stop was to a Medicaid attorney for guidance. He recommended that I reach out to Lisa Isbell at Senior Care Authority of Richmond for assistance with finding a care facility. Lisa responded quickly, listened to my situation and asked a few questions. She then offered a solution that I didn't even know existed. It was the perfect solution for us, just the right balance of care and cost. I was in tears on the phone with her just from pure relief. She set an appointment for the very next day and even went with me to see the facility. Even after placing my grandmother, she has checked in several times to see how it's all going. Her assistance in the process was truly priceless. Lisa and Senior Care Authority of Richmond helped me get through some of the hardest, most confusing and overwhelming days of my life. I am so grateful to Kate Turner for guiding me through the process of finding an assisted living home for my mom. She provided me with several great options and was with me during the tours to make sure all the right questions were asked, so that I could make an informed decision. We found the perfect place for mom, who has adjusted beautifully to her new home. Kate was so good at following up with us and I cant thank her enough for making this process less difficult for me. I would highly recommend her!
