A few weeks ago, I learned that a piece of property was auctioned off beside of my house. The shock of this was unreal and my husband and I were very upset. We have lived in the same place since 1995 and thought we owned this section of land that had just been "sold." I contacted three surveying companies to see about getting our property surveyed and I and explained my situation to each one. When I spoke with Jim at Highlands Surveying and Mapping, instead of just giving me an estimate to have my land surveyed (like two other surveying companies had done), he gave me other options and told me that he thought it did not to be surveyed, and to let him check into this more. Within a week, Jim had all of this taken care of without the need for the land to be surveyed. The property was confirmed to be ours, and the money for the sale of the land had to be returned to the person that bought it at the auction. I have not encountered many places that are this wonderful! It wasn't about the money for them, it was about helping us!

Our property sale involved land that had no survey since 1919. Jim and Ted promptly researched and verified 3 boundary lines, enabling us to act on a partial offer, on short notice. We now use Highlands for all of our surveying needs.
