I went to the hospital on 10/20/23 I was 3 weeks pregnant and I was having some cramping and some bleeding and Steven smith told me that I was having a miscarriage but me and my husband had a feeling something was not right so I went to wytheville hospital and I was fine I wasnt having a miscarriage but the next day I went back and I had one I really do think the hospital at galax gave me something that made me have a miscarriage

I had surgery and stayed 2 days. Absolutely everything went very well. All staff was very friendly warm and helpful. The food was even surprisingly good! I wouldn't ask or change anything except a clogged bathtub. That definitely needs to be taken care of. Even the cleaning lady was very nice. I honestly don't understand how Galax hospital gets negative reviews. We've had 4 grandchildren born there, I've had 2 different stays after surgery and my husband and children for many different reasons over the years. Every time, except one E.R. visit which was years ago, was always a pleasant and successful as possible. Thank you all for your help making my visit a successful one. ~~

In the past I've waited for hours in ER for treatment, and finally the Dr decided to do something after nurses made suggestions; treatment was the same as in past to help with severe colitis pain, why didn't he see that in my records from before? Did he even bother to look when I gave him that info? On the other hand, their outpatient Therapy clinic and staffing is AWESOME!!!!..... but the ER stinks.

And when my grandpa was at your hospital on 7-21-23 and the stretcher that he was in, it had dried up blood on it! You all are supposed to keep your equipment clean and sanitary. The bed was very nasty and unsanitary.
