My family and I had a great time. My husband now wants a horse. The only disappointment was that the website said there were two historical points of interest (I think it was an old encampment and then the hose George Washington lived in while surveying for Lord Fairfax) and we didnt see anything like that. It was actually the reason I chose this place but still, so much fun was had and the lady leading the ride was super nice!!! I very highly recommend Royal Horseshoe Farm!!!

This is my favorite place to go out on trail. The horses are very well behaved and well-loved. Rose and the guides are wonderful people. They take the time to match the right horse with the right rider, and what order the horses should go to minimize friction, which makes for a smooth, beautiful ride. God bless!

My daughter and I visiting Royal Horseshoe Farm for a trail ride and were so impressed! Carrie, our trail guide, was wonderful and made sure that our ride was beginner-friendly for riding novices like us!

My wife and I have been on many trail rides located in northeastern states and this was the best of all. For experienced riders the actual horse trails we rode on was a refreshing challenge and will not think twice about doing this again if ever in the area again! Thank you so much for the family hospitality and for an experience we both will not soon forget!

Great experience at Royal Horseshoe Farm! We had two beginners and an intermediate level in our group and our horses were selected to match our experience. Horses are well cared for and loved. Scenery was beautiful. Thank you!
