I contacted this company to fix the smoke detectors and the window for my house to pass my home inspection for my home sale. He doesnt answer his phone only texts and told me first that he would go out the same day then told me that he had to do it 6 days later. He stated that he completed the job and wanted payment for $250. I trust that he did the work properly and I paid him through Zelle. The home inspector goes out to the house and stated that the the items have not been fixed, still chirping from the smoke detectors and window is still not working. I told him that the items were not fixed it and he said he would go out there again. No response until he told me that he had to goto the hospital and would do it the next day. He didnt show up today and he told me he was too busy and would have to do it another day . I told him that this could endanger my home sale due to the items not passing inspection which were not approved by the inspector and I needed to be higher on his priority list since the job that I paid for. Then he states to me that it would be another $250 trip charge which I found disgusting since he didnt even fix it and we had a certified inspector from buyers check his work. I then ask him to refund the money since the work was never completed and didnt respond. He tried to come back out to charge me additionally but I could not trust him since he has been dragging through this process with no urgency since he got paid already and I didnt want to lose the sale of my home. This was a complete rip off, terrible service and I will be contacting Thumbtack and all the sources he is on and file a small claims court order against this guy since he does not want to take accountability for not performing a simple task that he was hired to do and offered nothing to remedy the situation except Im busy , Im going to charge you another $250 this was absolutely the worst service I ever received.
