I highly recommend Dr. Richards. He explained everything in detail and did not suggest surgery as a first option. He discussed non-surgical treatment options with surgery being the last option. He was very personable and I felt very comfortable with his recommendations.

I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Richards for my son, who is 16 years old, based on his bio and education information which was focused on sports medicine for pediatric and adult athletes. Unfortunately, my son experienced an injury at practice. We were able to get an appointment with Dr. Richards' the next day which is important when you are trying to diagnose and treat sports injuries quickly, especially for your children. Dr. Richards was personable and was able to immediately diagnose the issue. His treatment recommendations were extremely helpful and my son experienced improvements in pain and mobility a few days after the appointment. In addition, Dr. Richards took additional time during the appointment to explain preventive steps to reduce the risk of future injuries. I would highly recommend Dr. Richards to other parents looking for a local option for orthopedic care of their student athletes.
