My wife and I have been seeing Chiropractors most of our lives. My first experience was when I injured my back in my early 20's (now 56). My wife has had minor Scoliosis her whole life. 10 years ago She was told her prognosis was for physical therapy followed by surgery followed by walking assistance devices. Dr. Chris has kept her adjusted and nearly pain free for the last 7 years! I broke 8 or 9 ribs and my collar bone in a motorcycle accident. Couldn't even lie down, but with her gentle technique Dr Chris was able to adjust and speed my recovery.When we moved to Virginia I didn't even know what allergies were. I thought I had a cold that wouldn't go away (for 3 months!). Dr Chris explained how keeping my neck adjusted would allow my body to naturally drain the fluids from allergies. I have not taken any medication since, and have been virtually symptom free.In case you haven't gotten the message yet, we strongly advocate for chiropractic care and especially for Dr Christine Thompson. Have been going here for quite some time -- when I first started going it was because I had tweaked my back so badly that I ended up in the ER because I couldn't get up off the floor. Dr. Thompson has always been super nice to me and has always listened.  Yes, we've gone round and round about my choice of footwear (she tells me I need something more supportive and I want flip-flops), but has never made me feel bad about not changing.  I always feel great walking out of there!
