Terrible team, non organized, had us wait 1 1/2 hours till seated to then be told we couldnt have the surgery, because when asked if ride could leave and for them to take down my number for when my wifes surgery is over. Ill come back . I leave them they tell my wife after waiting hour n a half that someone has to be here. Why would they allow us to leave if we had to stay. Wasted our time & day

My now 7 yr old daughters first dental experience was traumatic. So much she threw up after the appointment. We came to lets smile with a lot of fear and anxiety and at her cleaning appointment determined she needed 2 crowns and 1 filing. The first crown appointment she met the AMAZING dental assistant, Erick. You could immediately tell he was a dad and he did soo much in just getting her understanding and giving her the time to adjust and lessen her anxiety about the procedure . He went out of his way to provide compassionate care for her! I am forever grateful! Dr. Choi was equally as amazing too!! Her explanations to her in a 7yr old way who lives all thinks pink and unicorns was so on point! I can not say more about Dr. Choi and Erick! We are now only booking our appointments with dr. Choi and hopefully Erick too! Amazing!! On day two my daughters face lit up seeing Dr. Choi. My daughter was soo happy to see her again even if it was for more work! Thankful I found these two!

This facility fraudulently filed my Medicare dental insurance for services not rendered. I had a referral to have some oral surgery performed which included bone removal. After oral surgery I was lucid enough to understand when the oral surgeon informed me that he decided not to do the bone removal because he felt it wasnt needed. Before the surgery I made a cash payment of $2,553.00 which included payment for the part of the surgery that wasnt performed. When I questioned about a refund I was told to wait to see what the final payment would be from insurance. Although my dental provider refused to pay this fraudulent billing due to the reluctance of the facility to provide an operative report, this facility billed my insurance for $2,700.00 months later for the same date they billed $150 for a pre-op where the oral surgeon took every bit of five minutes to examine me. My insurance EOB (explanation of benefits) reflect this obviously fraudulent billing. This facility not only billed my dental insurer but also tried to bill for these services under my medical insurance provider. Keep in mind that these services were pre approved prior to my surgery as to what they would cover. It is against the law for providers to charge the patient for any shortfall for their contracted approved amount for services rendered. When going to my post-op check up months later, the oral surgeon changed his tune by telling me that he didnt do the second part of the surgery due to excessive bleeding. After the surgery I was told there were no complications so obviously this was merely an excuse. At the post-op visit the surgeon referred me to a hospital setting facility in Richmond. I had the original surgery performed on 10/8/2022. It is now April of 2023 and Im still without any lower teeth. Not only has this been detrimental to my oral health but it has also placed a burden on my overall health. One burden being that Im now down to 96lbs due to difficulty in eating. This is so wrong on many levels. My only recourse has been to open a case or complaint with Vas Dental Association as well as Vas Attorneys Generals office and the ACLU. Further legal steps will be taken. In the meantime I wouldnt refer anyone to this facility. Its not as much the oral surgeon that Im dissatisfied with as the Office Manager or the person responsible for billing. At this point Im not really sure that the oral surgeon is aware of this situation. I have documentation to prove everything Im saying. Medicare might not seem to care that providers are billing for services not rendered but its nothing short of FRAUD! I would warn anyone using this provider to carefully reconcile and question any payment requested prior to surgery as well as what is expected from the surgery. Theres nothing worse than a facility or surgeon fraudulently billing a insurance provider or a patient themselves. It makes me wonder how often FRAUD such as this takes place with other unknowingly patients at this facility. Furthermore, I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Theres obviously something seriously wrong with the handling of patients or insurance filings by this facility for services rendered or not rendered. Anyone using this facility please be vigilant! No one deserves patient care or lack of or fraudulently billing like I have experienced. Nor does the insurance providers.
