Global Dimension is a great place to work. I worked with them for almost 3 years, they have a great work's autmosphere and great work benifits. They are caring about them employees and always fighting for them rights against the main the contractor. I would recomanded this comapany as a great place to work and start your overseas career as a DOD contractor.

This is a great place to work. We are a tight knit group and I really enjoy my association with everyone. It's one of the best companies I've ever worked for.

I was so excited to work for this company initially, but I soon ate my words shortly after starting. I was on the tank contract in Kaiserslautern Germany and for the first week or so everything seemed fine. It quickly took a turn for the worse when the chief in charge starting making life hell for us for no reason. Treating us horribly, talking down to us, and not giving us the tools needed to be successful because he said "you can't be trusted". So the tools we needed to complete our work just sat there locked everyday. We still made things happen but were told everyday we aren't being productive and this just made moral fall. We were told we would be working on tanks but when we got here all they had were bradleys. The biggest issue is that we were promised so much in the contract when we first started and a week in, they took all that away and didn't update the contract. We got paid almost half of the amount initially promised, they also took our PTO, vacation, sick, and holiday pay. They said it was a mistake on their end but we just kept being told if we want to be paid more we need to work harder. These words came from the CEO! Himself, and Tom came down to the site after about a month in and all they did was hound us about not doing our job properly. When we tried to express concern about living arrangements, food, pay, and the contract, we were pacified and told to just work harder. They said they would fix the issues but they did nothing. They really could care less about the employees. We had someone leave and the only thing they were told is what airport are you leaveing from. No thankyou or anything. They are just looking for yes men to fill roles and underpay you what they promise. We lost like 6 people and I had asked for a raise and was told no because they don't have the money. I had to leave early due to my mother's health and because we were going to get deported due to them dragging their feet on getting us our visas. They tried to do some crooked stuff and jump hoops instead of doing it the right way and because of that, multiple people including myself had to leave. I hadn't even stayed 90 days, but when I asked them to pay me up to my 90 days due to them not taking care of what needed to be done I was told no as well because I am hourly. It just doesn't make sense to me, we were promised 120k in the 6 months of being there and within the first month they cut that down to about 80k. We were told we would get 3 meals paid but they did not honor that, so the first month alone I spent over 1k just in food! When we asked about it we were told "you make enough money so it shouldn't matter if you have to pay for meals". Like really???? At the end of the day, it was one of the worst jobs/contracts that I have ever been on. I am still home looking for work till this day and they don't want to help in any kind of way. If you want to go insane, be depressed, treated like crap, lied to, overworked, pacified, and talked down to on a daily basis then this is your job! I would highly encourage you to seek employment elsewhere. I do not reccommend, it is highly unorganized, and as stated before they don't give a crap about you. If I had more time in the day I would explain everything in detail that was said and went on but it isn't worth it. Please take my advice and stay away from this company. Sadly I had to give a star but I would have given them no star if that were possible. I cannot stress enough how horrible this contract was with this company. For your own sake, find a job at the many other places that are honest and will take care of you. Like the saying goes, if it sounds to good to be true it is, and that is correct with this company.
