I just had my laptop (old macbook pro) updated and a new hard drive installed. I took it to Techfix in Fredericksburg on William Street. The owner, Eric, is so good. He was nice and explained everything that he recommended and told my my laptop is fine and will last for several more years. He also answered questions about issues I was having due to my ignorance. He did not make me feel out of touch. He repairs all sorts of electronics. The price was much less than I expected.

Amazing place to take your electronics to. He is very accurate and fixes what needs to be fixed. He is also pretty fast as well. I feel like the pricing is pretty fair, especially since he's not a chain and does all the work himself. Highly recommend him.

So I was drop my phone in a tub full of water. Knew had to put it in rice. The next morning I walked into techfixers. Told him what had happened. He did a quick cleaning of the charging port. After that he proceed to open my phone and a quick testing parts. Came out needing a new charging port. Fixed within 30 minutes. Very reasonable prices as well. Super nice owner! Lovely dog as well!
