Chatham Barber Shop

I came for a haircut for the first time at this barbershop where haircuts cost $20. All the ladies were very kind, but their kindness seemed to be fake in the end. Initially, I told the lady I wanted a low fade and a trim on the top. I showed her the length and even a picture of the haircut I got a couple of months before. However, midway through the haircut, after finishing the low fade, she started cutting the top, and we both noticed that one side was shorter than the other. Realizing there was no turning back, as my style is just a simple slick back and the hair was too short, I noticed the hair starting to stick up on the sides, looking bad. The lady in charge noticed the situation and intervened, taking over the haircut from the first lady. Despite her efforts to fix it, the damage was done, and there wasn't much that could be done to salvage it. As she tried to blend it, she reassured me by saying, "Don't worry, the hair will grow back in a couple of weeks and will look like the picture you showed us." At that point, I knew I wouldn't be returning to this place. What's the point of getting a haircut tailored to your preferences if they don't care about the outcome? In the end, I wanted to see their reaction when I asked about the price, considering they knew my haircut was messed up. Without hesitation, they asked for the normal price of $20. I paid the $20, but I will never come back to this place.
