I recently helped my mother open a new checking account at the Fredericksburg Branch of Burke & Herbert Bank. I was extremely impressed by the amazing customer service. The teller was very helpful and the branch manager went above and beyond and made me feel like a person and not just an account number.
Walking into this space, you get the sense of a small town bank - one that has the support and resources of a large, publicly traded financial institution.
If you are looking for a new local bank, I highly recommend the Fredericksburg Branch of Burke & Herbert! They offer a personal touch that you just cannot find at a large, national bank.

I have been their numerous times and every time they have gone above and beyond my expectations. I am 100% satisfied with their customer service, Mrs. Zaheer and the teller always greet me with a smile and ready to help me with all my banking issues. I am so satisfied with their service I moved 5 accounts to the Fredericksburg branch. They are a GREAT asset to Burke & Herbert bank in Fredericksburg Va.
