Purvis Ford Service

March 26, 2024. Went by purvis ford to make an appointment to have the transmission in my explorer checked as it's slipping. Once I told the service advisor about what the car was doing and that I had an extended warrenty in my vehicle she proceeded to inform me that they weren't taking appointments for repair as they were booked up for the next 3 to 6 months. She suggested I take it to another ford dealership. I've never been told before ,we don't want your business go elsewhere before. I immediately walked out and informed a service member standing smoking a cigarette that this is why I don't deal with purvis ford. Unless it's sales in a new over priced vehicle they don't want your money. There is no service at purvis, just sales. Amazed at the outlook they have in business, as bad as the car business is currently due to our careless leaders in dc that they turn down work. But when you rate the lowest in Virginia in reviews I guess I can see why. Avoid purvis at all cost. Go elsewhere

I have nothing but good things to say about Ford Purvis Service center. We had a safety recall recently and it would have been devastating for us to be without our vehicle with all our kids activists and back and forth to schools. Ford gave us an awesome loaner car, and when I recently had an incident (managed to lose my drivers license and credit card INSIDE the center console hard to explain but they were LOST INSIDE the car console) they took care of it and retrieved them from me. They had to take stuff apart to get them. I know it was a huge inconvenience and they were so kind to me! I will definitely continue doing business with this dealer in the future! Cant recommend enough! Good kind people here!
