The communication and skill from Carmen were fantastic. I was in a bind looking for a new groomer because the last one nearly butchered my dog, and Carmen was good enough to add my to her clientele list when i was in need. She sent regular updates and pictures. My dog did have a little trouble in the middle of the grooming session, but Carmen let me know, and I had no worries. My baby still came out looking amazing, and I was very happy with the end result. Will be going back.

We have been visiting Carmen for several months now. We were lucky to become one of her clients. She is very down to earth and passionate about wellness, training and understanding how to communicate with our little one. She provides updates and pictures throughout our doggie daycare. I have complete trust in her care and the attention she bestows on Olivia.

For us, finding Miss Carmen has been a godsend!!! Anyone who loves animals knows of the deep bonds people have with their pets; almost instantaneously becoming less pet, & more family. So when we found ourselves becoming permanent caregivers to my mothers 8m/o bichon puppy, we had to quickly, yet V E R Y carefully find a suitable grooming/boarding/training/day care provider who understands the tone we want & need to set for our growing puppy to transition into our already busy lives. After extensive research & countless visits, we found Carmen. And thank god we did. From day one, Carmen took the time and gentle effort to get to know our very nervous selves, and our little tutu. She was always clear about her process in every service she provides (& we have availed them all!), and communicated upfront with any changes or adjustments in scheduling, feeding, temperament, etc., providing so much feedback and making suggestions that, despite having an extensive background owning and fostering/rehabbing everything from hermit crabs to rabbits to reptiles and beyond, I am a much better pet owner than I was a year ago. And it clearly shows across our dogs entire temperament! My husband & I LOVE Carmen, but more importantly, our dog does. (We even have to be careful to code-name Miss Carmen in her presence, lest she zoom through the house in frenzied excitement). She practically jumps out of her seat when we turn the corner to Carmens neighborhood (dont worry, shes strapped in). Finally, while its tough to pinpoint exactly what stands out most for us, it is comforting to know that every time I drop our dog off with Carmen, we KNOW she is getting the absolute best care imaginable! Even when being groomed (about which our dog is still less than pleased), its good to know that carmen takes the time to give her breaks, and stretch it out over appointments to lessen her anxiety. And she looks amazing afterwards!!!! Carmen treats our baby as if we are standing in the room nest to her; loving our dearest newest member as if she were her own. Gazillion stars!

DO NOT TRUST Carmen Bonilla with your pet(s). I met her for the first time last week. It was a disaster from the beginning. She had apparently emailed me forms to complete and never mentioned them in any of our texts until I was already in route to the appointment. I had to sit with my dogs for 30 minutes for her to print out the forms for me to complete because her forms were not online. She seemed young and so I tried to give her a chance as she conducted her business. She then comes out to say maybe we need to reschedule because she was having problems with her printer and she may not have the time. I told her I just made this drive and I really needed them to be groomed that day. So she agreed. I was still hopeful i twould turn out. At 1:30 pm she texted they have another hour to go. At 2:30 I checked in, and she said they needed another hour. She said they'd be ready at 3:30 and I sat for 30 minutes waiting. Come to find out she had taken her dog or another dog for a walk and apologized. She brought my girls out and said she couldn't finish and if i could bring them on Sunday at 12:30. I was a little upset, but kept it in because again, young girl, trying to start a business, I want to encourage and support it. So I told her that's fine. Sunday at 10:04 am she texts to say she needs to take the day off. I had arranged my schedule that day to drive them over and sit for an hour waiting for each one, and she cancels. I text her that I understand the need for time off, however this was unprofessional to 1) not finish the grooming job that was paid for in good faith $230 2) to cancel last minute on a trip that I had to make because she couldn't finish. She blamed it on my dogs. That they were anxious and that next time I should sedate them. I have been taking them to various groomers in the area and love Pets Plus in Kingstowne - but the wait time was so long which is what prompted me to try someone new. She cheated me and my two little maltese. Putting this out there so you don't get cheated. She refused to give me my money back for not finishing the service. BEWARE!
