Though we aren't first-time home buyers, it's been about 20 years since we've been through the home purchasing process. Cheryl was absolutely wonderful (and patient), helping us navigate every step of this very interesting market. She was organized and always had the time to listen to our feedback (and questions) after we visited a potential home. The bottom line is she made a stressful process a lot less stressful for us! Im so happy I chose Cheryl Smith as my agent when buying my new home. She is professional, reliable and well educated in all things real estate, and has a solid understanding of new construction. I knew I needed an advocate when buying new build, and Cheryl was amazing. She explained the builder contract and countless addendums to me in detail and in terms I could understand. The building process had significant issues and delays, and Cheryl was a constant advocate on my behalf during a stressful situation. She also saved me $9000 by carefully inspecting my closing documents! Cheryl was always a phone call/text away and was quick to respond. I highly recommend Cheryl for buying , selling and new construction, and I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Cheryl was our agent when we sold our townhome this past May. But the story starts earlier, in January when Cheryl first came to the house to begin creating a staging plan. Having been a professional stager prior to becoming an agent, she had ideas right away, and worked with us all along the way to effectively present the house for sale. Throughout those 5 months she was frequently at the house, helping us to make decisions and prepare the home. Working with Cheryl has been rewarding in many ways. She inspired confidence that the house would sell, so the process became an enjoyable collaborative effort. This helped to ease some of the stress that comes with relocation. And seeing how much time and effort she was putting in, encouraged us to work harder as well. Some of the toughest decisions were about timing; when to post pictures, list the house, have the open house, and of course, the listing price. We were waiting on new construction and needed to sell/close before closing on the new house. Cheryl's extensive experience in this regard guided us to make precise choices that worked perfectly. The result was beyond expectations. Pictures went online on a Thursday. That evening a buyer made an offer for 50K above the list price based on the photos alone. We listed on Friday and held open house on Saturday, and accepted an offer from the buyer who contacted us first for 60k above list (that's not a typo). I doubt there are many agents in the area as good as Cheryl Smith. Descriptors that come to mind are professional, competent, encouraging, personable, effective, thoughtful, patient, and fun. And you can take that to the bank.

Cheryl was invaluable in buying my first condo. As a first time home buyer moving from out of state, she was extremely knowledgeable about the process and the area. She worked with me for six months through a crazy market to get me into a condo that I love. She was extremely thorough, professional, and communicative. She really went the extra mile for me and overall was an outstanding agent that I highly recommend!
