Not really sure where the mean comments are coming from? But ive been here twice due to my depression and suicidal thoughts and theyre very open and seem like they are motivated to helping me.

Terrible place. Very poor at what they do, nearly EVERYONE will get a pyschotic diagnosis, they are criminalizing cliants into trauma, untruthful and careless, create a sadistic, threatening atmosphere, just no no NO. Needs to be cleared out completely with a whole new rehiring process and proper training. If we are the richest county why cant we do better than this garbage? 1 star for a modernized, less creepy building with a drop in center and a few nice peer support specialists. The staff needs jesus more than the cliants. They make money off drugging people up without any real rehabilitation, do interrogations, not interviews, and behave as if everyone is a criminal, and get kickbacks. The poor reviews speak for themselves. Good luck. Just remember, they secretly(or not)hate their clients, are not on your side, and don't care. Once you walk through those doors you have no credibility, you are completely crazy to everybody. Seek private help instead. Truth..

Would give a negative star rating if possible. Nurses and staff are emotionally ABUSIVE to psychiatric patients and go out of their way to make the experience as terrible as they can, (ironically enough) because theyre in a bad mood or just hate their job. I would personally accredit this disgusting behavior to a dangerous combination of a lack of knowledge on what TRUE (mental) health care looks like , combined with an absurd lack of care for patients and their well-being. Traumatizing experience. Im a female (nursing student myself), and was left on a bed in the middle of the busy unit, with no absolutely no privacy for almost a whole day. After requesting a room since I saw several open beds open upon my arrival, I was told they were not available to me for whatever reason. I was left like this for almost 24 hours. After one measly bag of chips (although I informed them that I was vegan for mental health reasons) and a small cup of water, I would get hungry and thirsty after hours of not being able to even sleep in a setting like that, only to be brushed aside several times for asking, told that I had to wait for a time that never came, or straight up denied by one nasty male nurse in specific. Keep in mind this is after informing them that I hadnt ate in the whole day prior to my admission. Instead of getting appropriate care for my health crisis, I was openly dehumanized and talked down to by care providers that shouldve known better.. Not one member of the staff was helpful or seemed to take notice. I can only assume that its because treatment like this is the norm at this god-awful establishment. It doesnt take much to not be a terrible human, especially when thats kinda the whole premise of your job. Honestly disgusting. I can only pray this doesnt happen to others in the future, coming in thinking they are genuinely going to be getting cared for in their most desperate times. Wouldnt recommend this hospital to my worst enemy.
