Cabinet Paint by Design

I found cabinet paint by design via a google search and was hesitant to hire them based solely on google reviews, but Im really glad I did. Ive worked with many contractors in the past, and Karim is far and away one of the most professional and responsive. She gets back to you via email quickly (many times within minutes), doesnt forget details that matter like many contractors would, and clearly takes pride in her work. Shes also patient and easy to work with. She has a small team- shes not outsourcing work to subcontractors- so they know what theyre doing. Her service also comes with a color consultant, who was amazing and I definitely recommend using. I cant yet speak to durability, but if youre looking to paint your cabinets, I highly recommend using this company.

I hired Cabinet Paint by Design to give our 20-year-old kitchen cabinets a much needed refresh. I would highly recommend their work. All of their staff was professional, hardworking, detail oriented, and trustworthy. We were out of town when the work was completed and had no problems. Seven months later and my cabinets still look great. I have received many compliments from friends and family. The paint they use is not ordinary wall paint, but a much more durable product that is easy to keep clean. And all of this done for a reasonable price.

We had our 90's oak kitchen cabinets painted a year ago by Cabinet Paint by Design. I waited for some time to write a review to see how the work held up. Our cabinets still look like new and sometimes when I accidentally bang a pot against the corner of the cabinet and I think "yikes, I did it that time!", there are no chips or cracks, they still look beautiful! The finish is durable and I appreciate that as the kitchen is the heart of our home and we cook a lot and spend much of our day in the kitchen. Oak is a more difficult wood to paint over due to it being grainy but Cabinet Paint by Design crew takes on such challenges and did a beautiful job, I get complements often on our cabinets. Grace and her team were wonderful and so friendly to work with, it made the process more enjoyable! Although I was anxious during the process as I was unsure of a completely different look in the kitchen, the crew was delightful to work with and they put me at ease and assured me I would be happy with the final product! During the design phase, Grace made suggestions to update our 90's kitchen even further which was a huge help. As a result, some additional cabinetry work was done in the kitchen in addition to a couple of cabinet doors made to match our existing cabinets and the workmanship and carpentry work was superb, and I am very particular and my husband also noticed all of the details of their workmanship! So skilled! The designer was also so helpful in providing suggestions on the knobs: where to buy, what kind, and she helped us pick out which color of white paint for the kitchen cabinets given the lighting, style, and existing wall colors. Again, something I am clueless about and her suggestions were essential as there are thousands of knobs and styles to choose from and too many variations of white paint! They really thought about each and every step and detail from design, scheduling, to completion, to ensure a satisfied customer and beautiful results!. I highly recommend Cabinet Paint by Design!
