Right at Home

We have been using this service for my grandmother for the last few months after my grandfather unexpectedly passed. Our hope was that she could remain comfortable in her home during a time of transition while we found a high quality elder care facility for her to move into. We also hoped for a reliable and trustworthy service, but dealing with Right at Home has been a disaster. The caregivers themselves are completely unreliable. There were multiple instances in which they no-call no-showed, or called my grandmother **who has advanced dementia** day of to tell them they couldnt make it. My poor mother has had to manage this service practically full time and has constantly been on call to deal with their horrendous scheduling and even leave work during the day to care for her on days when the caregivers didnt show up. I have never seen her this stressed before. The company itself is not receptive to feedback and has failed to take any sort of action to improve the quality, reliability, and competency of the overall service. They take NO responsibility for the low level of service their customers receive. For the exorbitant fees they charge, we would have expected at least a mediocre/acceptable service. I am beyond happy that my family has found a wonderful facility for my grandmother and we no longer have to deal with this terrible company.

We are grateful for the care and companionship Right at Home caregivers have been providing our mother. Nigisti and Ronda are reliable, patient, and kind. The office staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone at Right at Home has been focused on meeting our mother's needs.

We have had a very positive experience with Right at Home since we started using the agency two months ago. Our live-in aid, Musa, has far exceeded our expectations and has significantly impacted my mothers wellbeing. He is experienced, reliable, compassionate, energetic and seems always looking for ways to improve the quality of my mothers life.

We would like to commend all of the caregivers from Right at Home. In particular we are pleased to single out Melrose and Rozina. My husband was hospitalized at the end of May with a severe infection and was virtually bedridden upon discharge from the hospital. He was unable to shower and otherwise care for himself. Both Melrose and Rozina were very patient and helpful in assisting him with the daily routine. They were extremely conscientious in ensuring that he did not fall due to his impaired balance. They were truly helpful and were genuinely concerned that he make progress in his recuperation during June and July. Thanks in large measure to them he is now able to shower, shave, walk unassisted and perform most of the necessary tasks around the house. We would also be remiss if we did not commend them for them for their work ethic. They were both very industrious and eager to assist in household tasks. We cannot thank them enough! We would recommend Right at Home to anyone in need of personal care.
