Highly recommend! Core did a great job transforming our screened porch and deck into a modern backyard paradise. They worked with us to keep most of the existing frame to help save money, but the end result looks like it is completely brand new! We couldnt be happier. Jeff, Sereina, and Todd went above and beyond. We had a lot of preferences and ideas. Core worked closely with us to implement our ideas and provided great advice to make it even better.

We researched three companies before deciding to add an enclosed porch and patio. We are very happy that we selected Core Outdoor Living. They listen to what we wanted, help create the design and delivered what they promised on time and in the agreed price range. It was comforting to know Core has its own dedicated crew led by Jeff. The crew is self-sufficient and experienced in all aspects of the construction. Jeff was onsite everyday and kept us informed of the progress. We highly recommend Core Outdoor Living for any outdoor living project.

Honest, straightforward, professional --- and EXCELLENT workmanship. Every aspect of our dealings with Core Outdoor impressed us. They are responsive, explain everything clearly, and keep you informed day by day. Their work crews (we were privileged to work with Jeff and his team) are on time, work hard, and did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of the project. They rebuilt our two-level deck after major storm damage, and upgraded the flooring, railings, and posts. They did a beautiful job and we couldn't be happier. My advice to anyone reading this is just call Core. You won't regret it.

We could not be happier with our new enclosed porch and open deck constructed by Core Outdoor Living. From the project manager and work crew assigned to our project, to the support staff, we were so impressed with every aspect of the project and the wonderful people at Core who worked with us to ensure a very successful outcome. What made our project more challenging was that we required a special permit from Fairfax County, as our proposed porch modestly encroached on our allowable setbacks. Many contractors will avoid projects that require navigating through the very laborious special permit process. However, Core not only accepted our project, but helped us every step of the way with several staff members serving as the main interface between us and Fairfax County and doing an outstanding job in helping to ensure that all requirements for securing our special permit were met. The work crew assigned to our project lead by Ben was very courteous, professional, and talented, and once the project began, the crew was there every day until the project was completed. The workmanship, attention to detail, and quality of materials were top notch, and we were so impressed that Core was able to complete our entire project in only three weeks. Additionally, we were assigned Sereina as our project manager who was a pleasure to work with and was very focused on making sure that all aspects of our project proceeded smoothly and that we were continually kept informed. Other staff members were also very helpful, including Laura the operations director, Daren and Sean who helped us with the initial proposal and design, Cate and Debbie who helped us navigate through the complicated special permit process, and Cassidy who provided helpful admin support. Lastly, as a further testament to the outstanding job by Core, we have had many neighbors stop to comment on how beautiful our porch looks and their amazement on how quickly the entire project was completed. To summarize, we are very happy with the beautiful porch and deck constructed by Core Outdoor Living and would highly recommend Core to anyone considering an outdoor project.

We solicited several bids for our small, simple rectangular deck, and Core's was the best not only on price but on features and material quality. We opted for their flex scheduling discount (4%), which guaranteed a date by which work would be begun, but that if a window arose sooner, they would slot us in, and that's just how it happened, in late Feb/early March, way ahead of that estimate. Everyone we worked with at Core were friendly, professional, and highly capable and skilled. Our deck came out exactly as we had hoped, and the crew did a great job cleaning up after their work. Our project manager, Sean Hamon, is a great guy who kept me informed, there were no surprises. Based on our experience, you can't go wrong with Core. I'm including a before and after shot, plus one with the three outdoor cookers happily ensconced in their new homes.
