I love AC Moore. The prices are great and you can find almost any kind of craft item. Plus the employees are always friendly and helpful.

So I on Friday 9/6 I purchased a Cricut machine for my girlfriend's birthday from a different location. When I gave it to her I discovered I had purchased the wrong item. (I'm not that familiar with crafting stuff) Fast forward two days: We came in to exchange the item. The cashier was very friendly and tried to accommodate us but the item we wanted wasn't there. We looked at he website and saw it there so we went ahead with a refund instead. (Not knowing that you can't purchase items from their website). We were given a refund card instead of a cash or refund back to our card. Immediately after allowing he refund the manager on duty called the store I purchased the original item at to tell them we were thieves. Now I no longer have the item I purchased and I have a refund card that both stores in my area refuse to honor. They effectively stole $200 from me. Even though I had the unopened item, receipt, debit card I paid with, and produced photo ID. I'm sure I am on camera buying he item as well.
