I am lucky to have received therapy from the Select Therapy therapists at Fairfax Station, VA. I had experienced right foot pain for about a year from normal walking, and thought it would go away on its own, but it didn't. Rob and Karen, therapists, evaluated my right foot and ankle for flexibility and strength, and began to lead me through exercises - slowly at first, then harder and challenging. What a difference I have experienced! This program has changed my life, reminded me that walking to your car and in the grocery store, or up a few flights of stairs in my townhouse, are not enough to maintain good health at a +70 age. Rob and Karen listened to my account of symptoms and guided me to much better health, I will continue home exercises when my therapy sessions are over. Another thing to mention, Select provides a smartphone app that shows all exercises, thus "homework" is guided and illustrated. I highly recommend the Select Fairfax Station services. Mallory combines analysis with therapy, not just analysis like some who leave you going home wondering why you came, you are still in pain. She give you hope, hope to keep you motivated. She gives you exercises you can do at home. But what is spectacular is that she gives you a print out to take home AND she sends you a link to see the updated plan. This makes the treatment mobile. The treatment may be needed in the future if the affliction comes back, and know what? You have just what you need to start off making a difference on your own until you can get back in...
