If you are at all interested in woodworking, especially woodworking using traditional hand tools, you definitely need to check out Wood and Shop. I have learned a lot from the many excellent videos and online tutorials available on the website. I look forward to taking a class at Wood and Shop in the not too distant future. But in the meantime, I have purchased several of the videos that Joshua has made. All have been of exceptional quality and packed with useful information.

I took a two day bowl carving course here last summer. Great location and a fantastic shop. Joshua and his team were friendly and fun but, more importantly, very knowledgeable and eager to share thoughts and ideas. First class school in my opinion. It's a long way away from Toronto Ontario but, I'll be back again!

I watch the videos on- line and hope to take a class someday. Joshua is objective in his lessons and shares good as well as difficult aspects of products he shares about. I especially enjoyed the hand tool weekly emails. Steve

I visit this site frequently and greatly benefit from the information Joshua presents. His thorough and easy-going style takes away the reluctance to try new techniques or correct errors.
Any wood worker, but especially beginners, should bookmark this site. All material is well presented and sufficiently detailed--great presenter and very good production quality.
I just wish I was able to take one of his in-person classes.

Joshua is immensely knowledgable of his subjects. His style of teaching puts one at ease, and makes learning from him a pleasure. Even if I feel I already know the subject, I watch anyway because his detail most always provides me with something new. I always look forward to the next E-mail. Excellent job Joshua!
