Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Food was good. Service is consistently friendly, particularly in the bar area. They are on point for refills of the bottomless Mac and cheese that my kid devours. It checks all the boxes for what it is and that's enough for me.

I was somewhat disappointed with this visit. Whenever I go to Red Robin, I ALWAYS get the Royal Red Robin Burger, which is a bacon cheese burger with a sunny side up egg on it. But I ask to get the egg "over easy". To the average person, this means sunny side up egg cooked until stable, then flip it over and cook a little longer. When I got my burger, the egg was sunny side up. I pointed this out to the server and she took it back. Later, someone else came back (manager? Dunno, he didn't say) and said that this is how they do "over easy". I then said, then that means you only do sunny side up eggs, because this is not over easy. He started to argue with me explaining that this IS over easy... So, using my hand as a spatula, I mimed scooping up the sunny side up egg and flipping my hand over why saying, "the operative word in "over easy" is the word "over". I mean, if you're a cook of any status, you should know what over easy means, right? Then to top everything else off, we ordered our burgers to be well done and they both were pink on the inside... This is not well done. I just hope nobody spit on my food when it was brought back out to me... Dietary restrictions: Was very pleased to see that for diabetics, they offer delicious bottomless sides like the garlic, Parmesan broccoli instead of fries
