Ive been going to Perfect Dental Smiles for well over a year now.. I was a kid whos permanent front teeth had just come in after a long wait.. Soon after, I knocked the front tooth out on my bicycle handle bars.. My early years were spent with many trips, and many temporary crowns as I grew into my adult body. That caused much anxiety associated with going to the Dentist. My old dentist had retired and after 40 years of type one Diabetes it was time to find a new dentist. A friends mother recommended Perfect Dental Smiles and Im glad they did. I called and they worked me in quickly. The time came for the appointment the anxiety kicked in and I was on my way.. The first thing I noticed was the kind and warm welcome I received from Donna one of the two awesome receptionist. That put me at ease a littleI was soon called back by Telka. The anxiety kicked back in along with shame and embarrassment I had for how I neglected my teeth. Telka quickly put me at ease she was kind and gentle. Soon after that I meet Dr. Kaur she addressed my immediate need a partial root canal and the pain was gone. Dr Kaur even called later that evening on her personal time to check on me. WowDr. Kaur recommended Since I didnt have insurance about their plan It was a no brainer! For a nominal fee. You could get a full set of X-rays and two dental cleanings plus a discount on any future fillings or crown work with in that year. Now I wasnt a math major in college, but you get far more than you put in. A tremendous value. My next visit was with Chelsea ( forgive me if I spelled that wrong) the hygienist and the anxiety kicked in again as I was coming for that appointment. I was called back and just like everyone else she made me comfortable. She was professional and thorough she went over all my medications I take for type one diabetes. Asked about my A1C levels she did everything right. I had found my new dental team and the anxiety was gone However there was a lot still to be done but, I knew I was in good hands. They worked with me and came up with a plan. And for the first time in along time I dont run and hide when someone pulls out a camera. My self confidence is restored. They have had a profound impact on my self confidence and quality of life. I absolute love every one there! In conclusion I would highly recommend Perfect Dental Smiles for your dental care. Its a level of service that is second to none. I no longer have anxiety when going to the dentist. Actually I look forward to going. The staff is so amazing and sweet that I have to take extra insulin every time I go.. They now handle my mom and sister too. The both Love Dr.Kaur and her staff

I am writing this second review sadly as I will not return to Perfect Smiles after they are moving to their new office location in Danville Va. Since they have now moved, their office staff are extremely rude, the financial policies were changed without informing clients, such as I have an UNFINISHED ROOT CANAL/CROWN PROCEDURE and before they moved they did not require any deposit down on the crown but now that they have moved into a new office they cancelled out my appointment on me bc I didnt bring in a deposit on the crown (which I wasnt aware I had to do) until since theyve changed the policies since they got a new office. I received three messages by phone from secretaries saying they needed to talk to me about my three hour crown appointment and that this appointment may need to be changed???? MY QUESTION IS WHY IF THIS APPOINTMENT WAS PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED THEN WHY WOULD IT NEED TO BE CHANGED?? No explanation given to me. Did the Dr have other plans??? Its not my fault it takes three hours to do a crown procedure. So if you cant do a three hour appointment that day then it shouldnt had been scheduled to begin with. I needed that appointment. I havent been able to brush this one tooth for MONTHS bc I had the flu, RSV and blocked sinuses which they keep blaming me for canceling my recent two appointments for and I only owe them 20.00 on the books total for any procedures so money isnt an issue with them at all!!!!! Its not like I owe them a 1000.00. I owe 20.00!!!!!! And I had medically documented reasons for not coming to the last two appointments. Does a dental office want the flu, RSV and sinus infections brought into their office??? Definitely not!!!! So why are the secretaries throwing that up in my face as it is my fault and they are being rude and ugly to ME????? Then on top of that you cancel my appointment because I dont respond to your calls while Im sick and you also text me at 9 in the morning the day before my appointment then only an hour later you text me again and CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT!!???? Only giving me an hour to confirm?? The entire process is not okay. The professionalism is poor at the front end, the rude actions, the verbal abuse, not to mention I have lupus and this stress has made me so much sicker that I now have to go to the doctor for other reasons from a lupus flare up. I not only call today to ask to speak to the doctor and I speak to another secretary which only becomes rude with me again and starts the entire process over again with me for the second boxing match!!!!! I have never experienced anything like this with a dental office to be honest. Dr. Kahr is a great dentist but dealing with this office isnt worth it at all. I certainly pray no one has to go thru what I have went thru. I am a doctor myself and I certainly would never run my business this way nor allow my front end staff to run it this way. I first left a wonderful review of this business because she did excellent dentistry work and I still think so. However, I still would not wish this experience on anyone else. Exasperated
