        I'm writing this review to warn others about the deceptive practices at Jackson Hewitt. I was lured in with a coupon for $100 off their tax preparation services, thinking I was getting a good deal. Was I wrong! They quoted me a reasonable price of around $170, but ended up charging me a whopping $450 due to "additional forms" (less than one page each) that supposedly required more time and expertise. The preparer's explanation was that two extra forms were needed, which somehow justified the 3x increase in cost. I call foul! This feels like a classic bait and switch tactic, where they lure you in with a low estimate and then hit you with hidden fees. I'm left feeling taken advantage of and frustrated by this experience. It's clear that they prioritize profits over people. I'll be taking my business (and my hard-earned money) elsewhere next year. A word of caution to others: be wary of hidden fees and unclear estimates. Make sure to ask plenty of questions and get everything in writing before committing to any tax preparation service. Don't fall for the bait and switch like I did! Feeling ripped off and disappointed
