    So they claimed that I would put in an application and I should hear back from the owner. I waited almost a month and got a email stating the owner went with another tenant but 471 Falling Ln . shows that it is still on the market. All I know is I've put in several applications with in a month and at 40$ at a time seems like a set up. This is not the last Realty I would be putting on Google reviews but they were the only that responded as promised. Definitely needs improvement!! Thanks for your response , I do understand and appreciate that. Like I said you guys were the only reality so far that I've gotten a official response from ,I also appreciate that as well.     These people have yet to changey refrigerator after a 3rd time after they just replaced it n it didn't work that same day, I've been in contact with them they told me to try a different outlet overnight to see if that was problem no it wasn't I told them it's not not working n I have yet to hear back from anyone I've done spent all my money on grocery's simply because I can't store anything. How do I contact somebody about this . I have kids n I can't even provide the right nutrients for them. Am I gonna get some money back for groceries the worst rental company Ever I had a few more problems but I guess it is what is with them

    Would leave no stars if possible! Run, Run, Run! Don't rent from this people they are slum lords as others have said. If you have already made the mistake of signing a lease may God have mercy on you. My advice is hire a lawyer now because your going to need one. But know before you do Keffer has a sleazy, grease ball of a lawyer on payroll. In fact he (their lawyer)even uses Keffer to rent out the slums he owns. Then represents them in court. Seems like a conflict of interest to me but so does owning the construction/handyman services you use. Which they use to eventually if your "lucky" do jerry-rigged "repairs" and then over charge the home owner for said repairs while ruining their property. All the while the dynamic Keffer duo pockets more money on other people's suffering. Oh did I forget to mention then when the tenant finally takes them to court after months of misery they pocket some more money from the home owner for using their sleaze ball lawyer. What a racket! Only in this God forsaken state would such nonsense be aloud. Of course to be fair they seem on par with the other slum lords/real estate agencies in this rat infested third world state know as Virginia. I would look for something over the North Carolina line if I were you. But if you absolutely have to rent in this backwards state go with a national company whether you are buying, selling, renting, or looking for a property manager. The real estate laws are a joke here and they allow for bottom feeders like Keffer and son to profit from unsuspecting victims. This company and all the other local slum lords like them would be bankrupt from lawsuits and fines in any other state. Again choose a national brand they have a reputation to uphold. 2.8 stars is pathetic considering people have to give at least one star. So really they have 1.8. Probably because they leave fake reviews themselves to even get it that high. Go visit their office before you sign at least . It is pretty gross and run down. While there you'll meet John (the son) who cant even be bothered to wear shoes in their filthy office. Though still not as filthy as the house you'll rent or buy from them I am sure. Then you'll have a good feel for what "professionals" your dealing with. Don't worry you'll never meet/see Alan Keffer at the office he just hides behind his computer at home answering the poor google reviews pretending to care about the complaints online only. Don't bother responding Alan or son. Just no God sees all you do and you may think your getting away with it but I assure you, he sees all.

Unfortunately we do not make the decision whether or not to rent to an applicant, the owner does and the owner took longer than most do to make a choice of the five applicants. You only need make one application with us as it is good for any property we manage. Just as the owner wanted to look at as many applications as he could and took his time doing it, you made application with various companies to improve your odds which is wise, but costs. The property has been rented and the new tenant has moved in. Alan Keffer, Principal Broker

I've searched our database but have no Carolyn Green so she was not a tenant or is using an alias so I can't address much of what she asserts as the situation is unknowable if I don't know who she is or to what property she is associated. However, I can address a few of her complaints. First, yes, John does go barefoot and wears shorts even in the snow. I'm not sure he even owns a pair of shoes other than flipflops but he gets paid for what he accomplishes, not how he covers his feet. I'm glad she didn't make it further into the office or she'd have found our Comptroller (who sports a CPA designation) also barefooted. She is incorrect and I deny that the office is dirty. I do mostly work from home the few hours a week I work these days because I'm semi-retired and nearing 80 and we have good folks, well trained, who are capable of doing their jobs without constant handholding or over-shoulder-looking but will gladly meet anyone who requests it. Our attorney is Kevin Hubbard of Pender & Coward and having known him and worked with him for some decades, attest that he is as honest as they come. He wouldn't even hear a case I brought some years ago when it appeared in his courtroom because of the possible conflict of interest just because we knew each other. I admit my curiosity is up for I can't figure out who Carolyn Green is or what the particulars raising her hackles are and would dearly love to know. Alan Keffer, Principal Broker
