Absolutely the best bang for your buck. It is not a 5 by any means ((no hotel around here is technically)) but for what you pay, you couldn't ask for a more perfect place. The rooms are cheaper than any others around here from what I've gathered ((and I have stayed at several hotels within a few mile radius)) and they offer a discount if you pay for the room weekly. For example, the Extended Stay America two blocks down the street costed $585 a week ((for a room with 2 decent sized beds)) and at this S4L ((Studios & Suites 4 Less)), a wekly rate for the same type room costs roughly $350. BIG difference! And what's great is that you aren't sacrificing a bunch of amenities by choosing the cheaper room. Oh! And I believe children under 15 are free ((they are only counted towards bed placement like if a room has a max capacity of 5 occupants)), which is a big plus for some! The ONLY downfall is that these rooms do not offer a fully functional kitchen where the other hotel in my example did have a kitchen sink, cabinets and a small stovetop with 2 eyes ((burners)). The rooms here do provide a microwave and a full-sized refrigerator with freezer though. Besides that one shortcoming, the ESA rooms pale in comparison. On top of a huge reduction in price compared to similar hotels nearby, you also get the luxury of NOT being harassed by staff/housekeeping. If you put the Do Not Disturb sign on the outside of your door, they don't disturb you ((unless you are the kind of person who likes a maid to tidy up daily which includes cleaning bathroom, dusting and vacuuming floor)). The only thing you may get is a courtesy phone call or knock on the door in the morning time to find out if you would like to stay another night ((if paying nightly)) or if you intend to check out. Which, for forgetful/procrastinating people like yours truly, this little alert from them is more than welcome and has saved me from forking over an additional $30 for late fees if I were to pay later than 11 a.m. or 12 p.m. ((can't remember which)). Next, the bathrooms are incredibly nicer, offering much more space to move around, a blowdryer if needed, a shower with amazing water pressure and temperature, three angled mirrors for optimal primping ((lol)) and lots of storage space. The floors are carpeted which I prefer over hardwood floors because, I dunno.. feels more home-y to me. There is an actual table with a chair that can be used for schoolwork, laptop time, eating a meal, etc. which some places do not have. The AC window units were recently replaced with brand new wall units that are MUCH nicer and work efficiently. The beds and pillows are comfortable, not like the brick slabs some of these other hotels manage to pass off as 'beds'. I could go on but I'm sure most of you dodged even reading this due to how long it is ((tl;dr )). Don't blame you; I ramble lol. So, clearly you can see that I think highly of this place and am only frustrated that when I stayed here, I did not come across a review like my own much sooner when I was wasting extra money at the wrong hotels. I hope this review helps at least //someone// though! Rooms: Comfy, spacious, clean and did I mention comfy? :)
