I was rudely told my family could not use self check out because we had more than 10 items. We had 12! We walked past, this older lady and she asked if we had less than ten items, and follow with I didn't think so, use the other lane! All before we could even respond. Meanwhile, they only had 1 other register open, with a huge line! We could have scanned and been on our way, but instead, we were there for an additional hour just standing in line! Next time we will take our business elsewhere. It's one thing to enforce a new rule and another to be rude/laugh at your customers. To make matters worse, a lady walked up with a basket full of items and even said that she had more than 10 items, but was told she was all good.

Extremely rude customer service. I was there tonight. When checking out at the self check out, an associate ran up to me and scolded me about using the self check out. I had 12 items, she said that there is a 10 item limit but she would let it slide this time. And that there are signs. I did not see any signs and the store was almost empty. I went to the closest check out. Her approach was very aggressive and unnecessary. With the store being as messy as it was, she should have focused on restocking rather than counting items in carts.
