Cedars Healthcare Center

I worked at Cedars for 13 years and I have volunteered at other nursing homes. It was a wonderful experience. Cedars has great staff, great residents. We had many residents that would go and try another nursing home and almost always tried to get back to the Cedars. It is truly a family oriented environment with caring staff. Cedars has far more variety of activities for the residents than other facilities provided and staff tried to meet the individual needs of the residents. The families were confident that their loved ones were in good hands. The nurses have a great open relationship with the family members. It is by far the best nursing home in the area.

A run-down Medicaid facility. Basically a homeless shelter with drug users and psych patients. The lowest of the low right here.

Went to visit a patient on Sunday September 4 during the evening. There were two ladies at the front. The first lady that was at the first desk was very friendly. The lady at the second desk was not friendly at all. And it also looked like housekeeping hadn't been there in days . The room that I went in was horrible

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Never place your love ones in this home , they will suffer terribly and not have no good care . Staff there are unprofessional I seen people under the influence of drugs and alcohol and the building doesnt care . The Director of this building is a old gentleman who doesnt even know half whats goes on in his own building. They need to shut down this place the ceiling has parts falling apart, unlicensed cna etc. The kitchen staff dont pay attention to the meal prep making sure diet are met according to the residents need . Please never work for a trash nursing home like this or have your love one lives there . I will always trash the name of this nursing home till change is made .

My mother in law lives next door. We came home from lunch around 1:30 on Dec. 19th, and saw a man sitting in the driveway unattended. Didn't think anything of it even though it was 40 degrees out. When we left my mother in law's at 8 pm the guy was still sitting in the exact same spot with temps near freezing. We called the receptionist to alert them and they had no idea he was out there. It would make me question putting anyone in this place
